Lexi’s POV
I woke up in the middle of the night with a gasp. The strange dream had interrupted my peaceful sleep. Even though I used to have the same dream and see the very same wolf when I was a child, this time, the same dream broke all the boundaries and the wolf talked to me.
Gasping for air, I looked around to see that I was still in Chris’s bedroom and that my entire body was drenched with sweat. I had fought hard to wake up and come out of the dream. It was like the wolf refused to let me leave him. There was just something about him that puzzled me. His aura, his eyes, and the two crescents on his above his eyebrows attracted me to him.
My mind started spinning with confusion. Brie herself had claimed that Chris was our mate and I felt the mate bond with him.
