I know Xander was still shocked that I introduced him with an alpha title. So was I. I hadn’t decided on what to do when we walked out onto the deck, and when it was time ‘Alpha Xander’ just felt the most natural. After all, he was the mate of my pack’s luna. They’d be expecting an alpha title and I had no intention of replacing Ben.
I still wasn’t sure how all of the duties would be divided now, but that was something to work on with Ben and Mark during the work week.
Watching Xander interact with the team and all of my pack members made me more confident in accepting him into his role as my mate and into Strong Mountain. He seemed naturally comfortable with everyone and carried himself with the pride, strength and dignity of a born leader. I hope no
