I didn’t mind the silence as we walked through the woods. I spent the whole thirty minute walk thinking over everything that she had yelled at me. For some reason it was obvious to me that they were thoughts she had never really expressed to anyone before.
At first I was just glad she was finally letting me in a little bit, even if that wasn’t her intention. But there were a lot of things she said that I wanted to talk to her about. She was clearly worried about what I would expect out of our relationship and how it would impact her pack.
