Chapter 7 As soon as they were up, and had eaten breakfast in the motel’s restaurant, Beau made a call to LeRoy—the man he used to work for before joining Mercer’s organization—using a phone he’d bought as an emergency backup, right after first going into hiding. He’d stored it in his weapon’s case, and hadn’t used it until now—meaning there was no way to trace the call to him.
