Heading home

*James* I tried. I tried so hard to at least make it through breakfast. I tried to let her eat in peace but this is eating me up inside. I know she's got her bags packed and ready to go. I know she's heading home today. I know the next few minutes could easily change my life forever and it's going to. No matter which direction she takes. I ask her what she plans to do and then patiently wait. Her mouth is open, opening and closing like a fish out of water. She starts wringing her hands together and I can literally feel the anxiety coming from her in waves. "I don't know, James. I just don't know". she says, jumping up from the table and trying to head for the bedroom. I jump up and follow her, grabbing her shoulders and bringing her to a stop. I lower my head and lay it on her hair
