WE WERE VERY MUCH on edge. Even though everyone was tired, I made sure that Sheydu had some guards posted to inform us of any activity coming out of the opening on the other side of the valley overnight.
Asha’s people were reported to still be around, and Sheydu said they were in contact with our team, but they didn’t come to the house, and I saw none of them.
Before going to bed, I made sure to shut all the windows. Thayu complained that it was stuffy in the room, but I was nervous that someone might try to climb through. Most of the members of our team were tired, and we had to guard both the aircraft and all sides of the house, which was very exposed.
