Daisy After a quick, but pretty late, lunch,we went to meet Mr. Kane in his office to discuss the plan. He looked at me with a little hostility but, honestly, I couldn't care. In the end if they don't like me, it's going to be Marcus's problem only not mine. I can still fled to Japan if grandpa Frank get angry. - I've heard from Marcus that he wants to take you tonight with him. - he said without hesitation. I've smiled sweetly and locked arms with Marcus. - Yes! I couldn't really see him since we arrived and I miss him so much! I can't even remember when we went out together like this. - his father looked at Marcus and sighed. - This is not a date Daisy. Marcus needs to give a nice reminder to the son of the Bianci family. He must let him know where is place is. - I kept on a silly smile and glanced at Marcus. - Perhaps he doesn't know the directions? - his father rolled his eyes. Yesterday's act was clearly gone by today and for some reason I wanted to annoy the hell out of both the older and younger Kane. I missed the Papa, he was the only honest one. - Marcus, are you sire you want to take her? - he asked as if I wasn't even in the room. - Take her where? - Marcus's mom entered abd and looked at her son and husband waiting for an answer. - I thought it would be nice to take Daisy to a club tonight, to release some steam and also to discuss a few things with an old friend. - Marcus said and his mother looked at me. - Are you sure? - she asked and I started to feel annoyed. Why does the whole Kane family think about me as an incompetent fool? I should've let the guys in the gym spread the word. Marcus pulled me closer and nodded. - Of course! We are young, we need to hang out from time to time like this! - in the end Marcus persuaded his parents and we headed back to our room. Marcus closed the door behind us and looked at me, looking pensive. - What? - I asked with my hands on my waist. - You seem off today. Are you sure you want to come? - Seriously... I wish I had something to throw against him. Or the strength to throw him somewhere! I took a deep breath and hissed between my teeth. - Yes. I'm sure. - Marcus shrugged and showed me a picture on his phone. - He is our target tonight, his name is Bruno Bianci. - I looked at the tall, blonde guy with green eyes and a gorgeous smile. - Hm... He is a real hottie! - I said it out loud what I gad in my mind only to earn a raised eyebrow from Marcus. - Really? This guy? And you dared to criticize my taste in woman because of Jenna. - he said and I giggled. - Are we being jealous, Mr. Kane? - Mr. Kane is my father's name, call me Honey. - I'd prefer to stay with the Mr. Kane or Marcus. - he threw his phone on the bed and approached me. Marcus cornered me between the wall and his arms on both side of my head. - I'm not willing to continue until you tell me what's wrong. - he said and I smirked. - I'm just trying to be professional, there is no need for me to fake this relationship when its only the two of us. - Marcus pulled away and somehow he seemed hurt. - Okay, in this case. Tonight, I have to talk with him and if needed intimidate him to back the f**k off. - Sounds like a plan, what's my part? - Keeping an eye on his men if there would be any. Also, if you see any woman in trouble. Many woman disappeared from near the party district lately. If we could connect the Bianci's to these incidents we could kill two birds with one shoot. - Okay. We will need disguises. - I said and Marcus chuckled. - What's wrong whit what I'm wearing? - he asked and I looked at him from head to toe. Black suit trousers, black shirt, brown elegant shoes and brown belt. I motioned a frame with my fingers and watched him through it. - You look good, but this outfit screams from miles away "I'M WEALTHY AND SHADY!". - Okay, I'll leave myself to your care. Dress me up! - he said and closed his eyes. I walked to his closet and took a pair of dark grey jeans, white t-shirt, a leather jacket and black ankle bolts out. I gave him the clothes and pushed him into the bathroom. - Seriously?! I've never dressed like this, not even when I was a teenager! - I heard him complain. - You mean back in the 80s? Those beautiful times! - I'm only five years older! - he said and I looked for something for myself to wear as well. Marcus I looked at myself in the mirror and felt a little ridiculous. My appearance was similar to the bad biker boys from the cheesy romance movies from my teens. I sighed and walked out of the bathroom. - I don't know if this is going to work... - my words got stuck in my throat when I saw Daisy. She was pulling up the zipper on her black martens. She had a black, skinny jeans on, ripped at the knees and a gold top, which revealed her whole back and was wrapped around her neck. Daisy put her hair up again and was preparing her make up when she looked at me and whistled. - If Daddy Kane kicks you out, you can still be a model. - she said and I felt nauseous from that nickname. - Please... Don't call my father that... - Sorry it slipped, but seriously, you look good. - She finished her makeup and looked stunning. - So, what do you think? - she asked making a little twirl. - Honestly? - Of course. - You look hot. - she blushed and I felt a little relief. Daisy was cold as an ice cube all day but now I felt better. - Are you ready to go to? - I asked and she nodded. We walked out and headed to tye garage. There were many cars parked and I headed to my favorite Maserati but Daisy stopped in front of a simple BMW cabrio. - Let's take this baby! - she said and I seriously couldn't understand, but agreed. I drove ourselves to the club and we entered without any further occurrence. The music was loud and the lights moved fast. I'm getting old to this shit... I thought and searched the place for Bruno. I leaned to Daisy's ear and said. - Let's divide here and I'll meet you in about an hour. - she nodded and swayed her way further to the bar between the sea of people. I forgot my glance at her tiny waist swinging from side to side while she enjoyed the music and got herself further from me. Suddenly the music changed to one we both knew well. She looked at me and even in the horrible lighting I could tell she got red again. I motioned her the same movements she did to me two months ago when I picked her up from the disco and she hid her face with an adorable and embarrassed smile.
