Torture

Daisy Marcus went to take a shower as well and I tried to catch my breath. What the w*****d romance book situation was that?! I've started to walk up and down. There is no way that I sleep with him in one bed! But what if his mother butts in again and sees me on the sofa? Our whole cover would blow up and grandpa will hear about ehat I've done. s**t! s**t! s**t! I'm in deep s**t! I walked to the bed and built a little wall put of the decor pillows under the blanket and crawled into the bed covering myself till my nose and hoping for a quick sleep. If I fall asleep before Marcus finishes the shower I cam save myself from the embarrassment. One sheep, two sheep, three sheep, four f*****g sheeps. No! It's not working! Oh the water sound stopped. He is coming out! - I s**t my eyes closed and tried to slow my breath pretending to be asleep. I felt Marcus sitting on the other side of the bed and he laughed softly when he found the barricade between us. He laid down and turned the light off. - Daisy... Are you asleep? - he asked and I didn't answered. - Thank you for today. You really did a great job... Goodnight! - he rolled to his side and soon started to breath rhythmically. I carefully turned towards him and watched how he was peacefully sleeping. A smile spread on my face as I whispered. - Oyasumi nasai, Marc. (Good night, Marc) - I closed my eyes and fall asleep. When I woke up I felt my usually ice cold feet touching something warm. So cozy! I thought and opened my eyes, only to meet a pair of beautiful blue eyes staring at me. - Good morning Babybee! - I squeaked and rolled off of the bed pulling the blanket with me. Marcus quickly crawled to my side and looked at me from the bed. - Why are you so shy? You were technically wrapped around me the whole night! - he said and I wanted to vanish from the face of the Earth. I used him as a huggable pillow. I'll never escape from his blackmailing. I peaked out from under the blanket. - I'm sorry. - he laughed and leaned back on the bed. - Get up the floor is cold. - I did as he said and tried to escape but Marcus grabbed me by my waist and pulled me back to bed. I tried to disappear in the blanket and escape again, but he grabbed my ankles and pulled me back, pinning me on the bed. - Stay put for the love of God for a moment!- he said and I gulped loudly. I stared at him and found out that this was a new kind of torture. - I'll have to work today, but there have been a series of kidnappings lately. So if you want to explore the city, take Max with you. - he released me and I sat up. - Kidnappings? Do you have more info? - Not yet, my father briefly mentioned it yesterday. Daisy, this is serious, only go out with Max. Don't trust my father's men either. - Okay, but why? He seemed to like me last night. Am I wrong? - maybe I was wrong. They are not that simple. Probably for Marcus's sake they faked their smiles. - He liked you but not hundred percent convinced. If I knew about the current situation, I would have neve brought you along. But we have to adapt now. - I nodded. Marcus Her smile seemed a bit bitter but she tried to hide her concerns. - Okay, I'll be careful. Is there anything I can help you with? - her eyes sparkled again. They were so warm and reassuring. I caressed her hair and smiled at her blushing. - Not yet, but if there's something you can help with, I'll let you know. What do you think about some breakfast? - I asked and she started nodding. - Yes please! I'm hungry! - she jumped out of the bed happily and hurried to the door but stopped with the doorknob in her hand. - I need to change first. - she said sadly and like a defeated hungry smurf she grabbed some clothes and walked to the bathroom. - If that makes you feel more comfortable you can change in front of me! - I said and I heard a soft growl from behind the door. I changed into a new set of clothes as well. Daisy came out just when I was buttoning up my shirt. - What do you crave for? - I asked her knowing exactly what she was staring at. Her eyes walked up from my abs to my chest and face. When our eyes met she got red as a tomato and quickly turned away. - I'm not picky. - she said and I laughed. - From the way you just looked at me, I can tell that you are. Let's go, unless there is something in this room that you want to have a taste of too. - I said and waited for her usual blushing but this time she just looked at me. There was something in her eyes that I couldn't describe. She walked to me and finished buttoning my shirt. She pat my chest and walked to the door without saying another word. When we arrived to the dining room her expression changed and it was the usually bright and cute smile on her face. But why did it hurt that sudden change? She chatted with my family and my mom asked. - What are your plans for today? - Daisy smiled and her smile was a bit bitter. - Since Marcus has work to do, I thought about lazing around a little today. I saw that there is a pool and a gym as well. - Or you can come shopping with me! - mom said and Daisy politely declined. - I feel a little jetlagged, but if you have time tomorrow, I'd be happy to join you! - mom giggled and they set the plan. After breakfast I walked Daisy back to our room but she didn't say a word. - Is something wrong? - I asked and she smiled. - I'm just tired. - Why don't you try to sleep a bit more? - I need to move, and I don't want to waste my time if I'm here. - Okay, then, I'll see you later. - Yeah. - I left her alone and had literally no idea what happened. She was jumping in joy, I tased her as usual and now she seems to be a different person. I met my grandfather on my way back to father's office. He didn't say anything just looked into my eyes, sighed and shook his head.
