Chapter Forty One - The Barn Hannah I had never been out to the cow barn. The building had once housed dairy cows, and had the cow stalls below and a big hay mount above. Dust hovered in the air, and cobwebs stirred in the summer breeze that pushed through the windows and the cracks and crevices between the old, warped boards. At one end, the roof had collapsed, falling into the stalls below, leaving a gaping hole open to the sky above.
