“This is not over!” Ruston growled at me, but Aries stepped in before Ruston could touch me, and Alpha grabbed him by his arm.

“Did it look like there might be a power struggle going on there?” Gerard looked amused, but I didn’t find it funny. All my life I was intimidated by the ones who I was meant to trust.
