King Nixon returns back to his palace to join hands in fighting for his dear son’s life, only to be told that his Queen is now unconscious too, that on sighting the carriage gallop into the courtyard, she had rushed from the balcony, had rushed downstairs into the courtyard to query Sir Wilcox of what was going on, she had seen her son looking half dead in his critical condition and had then slumped to the ground. King Nixon on receiving this latest info immediately rushed after his Queen, he found her in her own chamber lying on the bed. He entered the room and found his Queen regaining consciousness exactly that moment and he fled to her side and held her hand. Nixon kissed her hands, tears escaping his eyes.
