We quickly drove down the street and turned the corner toward the woods. We took Clark Road, which took us around the town and into the forest. When we were sure no one was following and in the safety of the woods, we all yelled and cheered with elation.
"Did you see their faces?" Trevor laughed, obviously feeling better. "We definitely caught them by surprise!"
"They didn't even see it coming!" Carlos added, laughing, cradling the M-16 across his lap.
"That's the key," Jada replied. "We need to take them by surprise."
"But we won't have the element of surprise anymore," Derek solemnly added with his eyes fixed on the road ahead, then turned onto Forest Ridge Road, the road which would lead us to the other side of the cave.
"But they won't be expecting us to hit the ammo dump!" Trevor
