Chapter 8Pulsifini's POV.
I completely forgot how I got back home.
Ursula was drying the laundry in the yard. She was happy to see me,"You succeeded in switching forms, didn't you? How do you feel?"
"Yes mom, I feel so tired." I picked out part of the truth to answer her. "Can I go upstairs to rest first?"
"Sure, go on."
"I'll tell you to finish eating."
"No need, Mom. I want to sleep straight through until morning."
I burrowed under the covers and prayed to the moon goddess that sleep would heal my pain. Switching forms for the first time was indeed very draining, and with my body and mind exhausted, I soon fell into sleep.
