Chapter 5Pulsifini's POV.
Maybe a warm blanket and a good night's sleep do have the power to heal wounds. I woke up feeling much better. My eyes were still a little red and swollen, but my insides didn't cringe anymore. But I had to go back to that place again. I didn't have the energy to care about anything else yesterday and brought back the maid's outfit.
After a brief wash and change, I went downstairs to meet Ursula.
"Come and eat." Ursula had already made breakfast.
"Thanks." Although she didn't ask, I wanted to take the initiative to explain so she wouldn't worry. "I was rejected yesterday."
