Jacob is not too bright, but he’s strong and he’s a good warrior. But his lack of cognitive thought is probably how Annabelle was able to trick him into making out with me. Then when Annabelle made sure that we were caught in the act, he panicked and blamed everything on me, even though the entire time he was the one escalating things.
“I was just telling her she doesn’t have to be so nice all the time. Especially if she’s uncomfortable about it.” Poppy says. The music finishes and I watch as Annabelle and Will bow to each other.
