I clung to Dominic as he carried me through the woods back to the house. I kept looking over his shoulder to see Liam walking close behind. He just grinned or winked at me when our eyes made contact. I ended up burying my head into Dominic’s shoulder instead.
When we got back to the house, Dominic carried me up the stairs and to the bedroom. I finally opened my eyes when he had put me down on the bed.
“Did you have another vision?” he asked, and I looked over at Liam, who was standing by the door. Dominic followed my direction of sight and frowned.
“Liam, can you go get Doctor Baxter please?” he asked, and Liam narrowed his eyes.
“It’s okay, I’ll mindlink him now,” he said. Dominic shook his head.
“I want a moment alone with my mate,” he said. “Please go get him.” Liam glare
