Mack immediately began squeezing the life out of me. I gasped for air and tried my best to break free, but his grip was like iron. I had never faced anyone this strong in my life, and I thought I was strong. For the first time since the start of the fight, I thought I was going to die. All of a sudden, someone shouted, “Mack, put him down! Now!” Without warning, Mack’s grip on me loosened, but he didn’t quite let me go. He instead looked in the direction the voice had come from and I did as well and was surprised to see who was running toward us.
