Julian sat on a black steed upon a barren hill overlooking a Greek village surrounded by a wall up ahead. The sky was dark and barren except for the full moon. The cool wind nipped at his skin but he did not shiver for the cold barely bothered him. His general told him to lead an army of 40 men against this village as retaliation for General Cirus' recent attack on a Roman town. Julian was excited about the offer and accepted it gladly. He was eager to wipe out some Greek scum. He raised his sword in the air as a signal for his archers and spearmen to aim and when they did he brought it down and they launched their flaming arrows and spears into the air.
A smile spread across Julian's face as screams erupted throughout the town and the guards' lifeless bodies fell from the wall and hit the ground. The first wave of men charged toward the gates carrying a battering ram and within minutes the gates were open. Julian kicked his horse in the side and it sped towards the entrance. He raised his sword in the air and let out a battle cry.
Marcell jolted awake as the scent of burning wood and flesh filled her nose. What the hell? She got out of bed and ran out of her room. She starred in horror at the sight before her. Her villa was on fire. She coughed and wheezed as she made her way to the entrance of her villa and ran outside. If her villa wasn't on fire she would've run back inside because what was happening outside was far worse. Roman soldiers were slaughtering the people of her village. She watched as a man was beheaded and a pregnant woman impaled. Bile rose in her throat and she struggled to keep down. How did these savages get in?!
She ran away from the gruesome sight only to face more. All around her people were being slaughtered, women were raped on spot, and children were crying, screaming for their parents.
"Zeus please help us." Marcell silently prayed. Tears streamed down her face as she looked for a place to hide. As she was looking she spotted a man on a black steed, beheading townspeople. He must've sensed her looking at him for he looked in her direction, directly at her and smiled.

Julian smiled as he caught sight of a beautiful greek female. She had dark, creamy skin, light brown hair, and soft features. She must be one of the poor townspeople. He assumed that because she wore the clothes of a peasant. He jumped off his horse and stalked towards her. As he got closer he could see how scared she was, how big her breast was. They wouldn't fit in his hands. Her body visibly shook and she looked as if she were glued to the spot. He stopped mere inches away from her and saw tears pouring out of her hazel eyes. Good, fear me.
He stepped closer and wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her tightly to his chest.
"You are beautiful." He whispered. He put his sword in the sheath on his back to join the other one and wrapped a callous hand around her throat. She was big for a woman but small compared to him and he could end her life if he wanted to. He applied pressure, cutting off her air. Her hands flew to his wrist and she tried to free herself. Her eyes widened and she gasped for air but the iron grip he had on her neck prevented that. Soon her eyes closed and her body went limp and he released her neck. He didn't kill her, he just knocked her out so it'd be easier to transport her back to Rome.
