When Emily heard the little boy's voice, she saw he was around the same age as her children.
Is it possible that Robert and Anna met while she was still married to him? He can't argue with it because the little boy in front of her is proof enough that he's been seeing Anna behind her back!
"It appears you have a family, Robert. I'm not sure what kind of person your wife is, but bringing me to your house where your child is cruel."
Emily could see the hatred in the boy's eyes. Why are you staring at me in this way? Your mother is the mistress here, okay? She destroys other people's marriages, and you are just a player in her game by marrying Robert. Emily thought bitterly but kept it to herself because the child was innocent.
"Why are you not at home? How did you get here?" Robert asks, looking at Ryan.
Ryan has lived with Anna since he was born. The number of times he saw Robert was little because of his mother's obsession; he also wanted to see his father without his mother, who always scolded him if he was spending too much time with Robert.
Ryan knew that his father didn't love his mother. He always wondered why. All the other kids in his school life with their mother and father except for him.
"I'm sorry, Daddy, I have missed you, so I asked the driver to bring me over." Robert had never talked to Ryan like this before, even if he was distant towards him most of the time; Robert wasn't strict with Ryan as he was Roberts's late brother's child. He didn't want to take over the role of a father because he knew that only his real father should do that, but sadly he couldn't.
Ryan thought the woman with his father was the reason for his father's behaviour. The little boy felt she must be here to take his father away from him as he watched Emily with hatred.
"Who is the lady next to you? Mommy is still in the hospital. You didn't visit her or see me. Instead, you brought another woman home, Daddy."
Ryan said as he continued glaring at the lady in front of him.
"Ryan, you should go back to your house."
One servant heard the conversation between father and son and stepped in. He didn't want the two of them to fight.
The servant picked Ryan up, but the little boy was struggling to get out of his grip; as soon as he got out of the servant's grip, he ran up to Emily and kicked her. Robert was angry when he saw the way Ryan acted.
Robert ensured Emily was alright before he took him out of the servant's hands and walked inside the house, where he scolded Ryan for misbehaving with one of his guests. Ryan was struggling to get out of
Roberts's arms, and when he finally broke free, he landed on one of the couches. Although the couch broke his fall, Ryan started crying and called Emily names.
"Robert, it seems you have forgotten how to teach your boy not to curse other people!"
Then Emily walked in the direction of the gate. She thought it was over. After all, the child was there; what could he possibly want from her?
"Who says you can go?"
Robert took Ryan to one of the maids and told her to ensure he returned home safely. Neither mother nor son can set foot in this house without his permission.
After solving this little problem, Robert began pulling Emily upstairs again, trying to take her back to their former room, but Emily struggled.
She didn't want to go back. She had fought hard to forget about this place she once called home. It was a place that brought her countless heartbreaks.
"Let go of me!"
Unfortunately, Robert turned a deaf ear, and Emily wasn't strong enough to break free from his hold. Robert tugged at her with one hand and even took time to answer a phone call. The new progress of Emily's investigation had been sent to him.
Emily breaks free of Robert's hand and runs downstairs while Robert reads the investigation report.
The contents of the investigation attracted Robert so that he didn't run after her. However, the maids downstairs knew they couldn't let Emily leave without Robert's order, so several people blocked the door.
"Let me leave before I call the police," Emily threatens them, but the staff continues blocking the way out. This made Emily mad. How dare Robert keep her here against her will?
This report says that Doctor Camille is married and has two children who are twins. Robert read the information with a frown, wondering if he had made a mistake. But he was sure he had Emily this time. She seems so much like her.
"You can't go unless you can prove that you are not her, and if you can't, then you will have to wait for my investigation results to come out," Robert said, lifting his eyes from the phone.
"Who do you think you are? Do you realize I can get you on charges of k********g?"
Robert didn't want to argue with Emily any longer.
He was just about to order one of the maids to take Emily to her room and confiscated the phone in her hand when his phone rang again.
"Robert, the company's website has been hacked, and now the whole company is in panic mode, and every computer has been attacked randomly."
Network security is crucial for such a big company, and Robert has spent money on it. The company's budget is on that as well!
"I'll be right over; ask the guys in the Cyber Security Department to give me a reasonable explanation as soon as possible."
"Robert, this attack isn't just randomly, but to give you a warning. Have you offended anyone recently?"
Robert looked at Emily. She was here with him, and the company's website was attacked. This woman really had some skills.
"Get the Cyber Security on it now!"
After Robert hangs up, he decides to let Emily. After all, the investigation results show that she is still a married woman.
