This night was destined to be sleepless for Dilan. After settling Ashley down for the night, Dilan didn't rest. He still had much to do, many arrangements to make. The humidity on the island was heavy. Dilan collected all the drying jerky and stored it in a room, under Xavier's personal guard. This jerky was their lifeline for the foreseeable future.
