"Take care, mom" I wrapped my hands around her and hugged her frail body carefully, inhaling her scent deeply, "I will miss you. Please do come home fast, okay?" I whispered my voice cracked as I pulled back a little and looked at her face.
It took everything in me to not crumble right in front of her as she smiled at warmly at me, nodding her head animatedly. I sighed and averted my eyes to my father who was sitting at the foot of the hospital bed, watching me and my mother exchange a hug for about a fifth time now.
