"No way" He smacked the ball in the opposite direction, a low chuckle escaping from his throat.
Declan had taken us to the beach, not far away from his parents' place because it was a beautiful sunny day today. We were now playing volleyball at the beach with my in-laws. Angeline is pretty good at it but having me in her team is a pretty bad idea.
Because I don't know how to play volleyball. I don't play any sports in general. Simply because I don't like to play sports. At all.
Declan and Robert were playing against us and they were already leading us in three-one. Angeline smacked the ball single-handedly while I dumbly stood next to her, offering no help at all.
I am ashamed of myself.
I stared at Angeline as she smacked the ball again.
