"It's nothing really" I shrugged, pushing his hands away from my face.
Declan stared blankly at me, "That doesn't look like nothing" He murmured softly, "Aishah, what happened?" He asked my best friend, watching her via his rearview mirror.
"Sorry, Hanna" I heard my best friend say. I looked over my shoulder and saw her gnawing her lip, "He deserves to know what happened" She said, releasing a deep sigh.
"There is one guy on campus likes Hanna and wants to go out with her" She started and my cheeks flushed unintentionally. I felt super uncomfortable with Declan knowing about my admirer, "I told him that she is off-limits because she already has a boyfriend and said his name was Hunter" She continued and Declan hummed, urging her to go on as he dutifully listened to her in interest.
