All three of the guys chuckled at what Day said as they walked out of the dining hall. Dinner was delicious but she was focused on Jay the whole time. She hadn’t wanted to be rude but now that they were walking, she linked Gabe.
‘What’s going on?’ She whined.
‘I think we calmed the freak out,’ he replied instantly, ‘we’re going to let the wolves go for a run. If you ditch Fitz you can join us.’
‘So, he’s gonna keep avoiding Fitz?’
‘Apparently,’ Gabe sounded just as irritated as she felt. Though who was she to judge? She was avoiding her mate too. ‘If I found my mate, I wouldn’t leave her side for a second. It’s not like The Moon Goddess gives mates out all that often to non-Alpha’s.’
‘You’re a Beta. The likelihood of you getting a mate is quite high,’ she assured.
