CHAPTER FIFTEEN Keri stood up from her hiding spot behind the bush and headed toward the motel, unzipping her jacket as she walked. She noticed that the soreness in her battered knees had subsided a bit, overwhelmed by the endorphin rush she felt as the motel got closer.
