Chapter 13 Jessa came awake slowly, feeling more rested than she had in months. Eli was spooned behind her, his hand resting on the curve of her hip. It felt sooo good to wake up in his arms. Opening her eyes, the clock indicated it was five in the morning. The wispy light of dawn was breaking over the mountains, heralding the sun’s arrival with faint streaks of gold and orange reaching into the sky.
