Chapter 5 Eli pulled up in front of Game to Fish. It was going on midnight, but his store’s alarm system had sent him an alert that there was motion outside the store. When he first got the alert, he’d surmised the motion sensors had been tripped due to wildlife walking by, likely a moose or a porcupine, the most frequent visitors in the downtown area at night. After a few minutes, the alert repeated itself several more times. As of yet, none of the sensors for the windows or doors had gone off, leading Eli to assume no one had broken in yet.
