Chapter 4: I Wasn't Meant To Be At The Party

1088 Words
Ruby Me and Robin was at the party, dancing to one of Calvin Harris songs and there was a lot of senior students from school and there was some students that I didn't recognise. The music was blasting and buzzing; people was dancing together. Overall it was a good vibe here. "Do you want a drink?" I shouted over the music. "What?" Robin yelled. "I said, do you want a drink?" I repeated. "Sure, thanks" she replied as she was continued dancing to the music. I went over to the kitchen to get some drinks. I pour in some punch for me and Robin. I was about to head out of the kitchen when I bumped in to someone, spilling the punch all over the floor, my clothes and the person in front of me. "Sorry. I didn't see you there. I'm such a cluts" I said apologetic as I grabbed tea cloth and trying to wiping the punch on the person's shirt. I could see that this person works out by how their shirt was sticking on them. You could see that they had a six pack abs that you can bake cookies on them with a scoop of ice-cream on top. My mouth watered by just thinking about it. "It's ok. It's just punch. There's no harm done" a deep, sexy voice said, chuckling. I looked up to see the person and what I saw the sexiest man I have ever seen in my life. He had short, dark blonde hair with brown streaks. He had sharp jaw line. His skin was tan that was kissed by the sun. He had full plump lips. They look kissable; I wonder what his lips taste like. Wait! What the hell am I saying? Get it together Ruby. I was so focus on this god of man's lips that he had to lift my chin to look at him. I swear to god that his eyes was memorising. Those emerald green eyes was staring right at me. It looked like his eyes was smiling at me. If that makes sense. "My eyes is up here" he said softly. Damn, his voice was sexy. It was silky and smooth like a melody. Damn it Ruby, snap out of it. Clearing my throat. "Umm, sorry but I couldn't help stare at your lips. They look kissable" I said honestly. He laughed. "Do you want to taste them?" he mused. Giving me a daring look. "Yes" I said bluntly. He laughed some more. "I see that you don't beat around the bush. You're not a shy girl. You're very forward" he stated as he was studying me closely like I'm a rare masterpiece. "I don't see the point why? I say how I see it" I said shrugging. He smirked. "You're honest person. I like that" "I don't see the point of lying. Honesty is the best policy" I said simply. "Good point" he agreed, nodding his head. "So can I taste them?" I asked bluntly. He was stunned. I guess he didn't expect me to asked. "Taste?" He asked confused. "Your lips. Can I taste them?" I asked again. He was shocked to my bluntness but he recovered and gave me a loop sided smile. "Sure" he replied. I grabbed his neck as he put both of his hands on my waist. We were inches away to kissing each other when Robin walked in. "God damn it Ruby. How long does it take to get dri..." Robin grumbled at me until she noticed us. She was looking both of us with amusement. "Now I know why you took so long to get us some drinks" she said teasingly. Folding her arms under her chest and tapping he left foot. I let go of the guy as he did the same. "Yeah. I spilt some punch on myself and him" I stated. Robin looked between us and then our clothes. "I see and now you need to get yourself cleaned up. I don't want you to get sticky in my car" she said simply. "You can change and clean yourself in the bathroom. Go upstairs, turn left and it's on the last door on the right" the guy said sincerely. "Thanks. See you later" Robin said greatfully as she started pulling me. "Wait! I didn't get your name" the guy shouted. I turned round to face him. "Ruby and you?" I asked. "Marcus" he replied. "Well it was nice talking to you, Marcus" I said sincerely. "Likewise, Ruby" he replied softly. Robin dragged me to the bathroom and locked the door behind us. "Why don't you clean yourself up while I get you some clothes to change into" Robin suggested. "Where are you going to find clothes?" I asked curiously. "In my car. I got spare clothes in the trunk" she said like it was obvious. I just looked at her blankly. "What? I always carry spare clothes for emergencies and it's a good thing to cause girl, this is emergency" she stated as she looked at my dress with disgust. "Well you're not wrong there" I agreed. She had a triumph look on her face. I rolled my eyes and started to take off my dress. Robin took it from me. "Let me get you the clothes from the car as you clean yourself up. Lock the door behind me" she stated and left the bathroom. I locked the door as soon as she left and scrubbing off the punch on my body. As I was busy cleaning myself, someone was banging on the door. "It's occupied" I yelled and continued cleaning myself but they banged the door again. "I said it's occupied" I shouted annoyed. However, they continued banging. They were banging so hard on the door that it could break at any second. I was getting pissed off, I unlocked the door and open it so I can give that person a piece of my mind but as soon as I open it, I was faced with a furious looking Orlando. Well s**t. It looked like I'm busted. I gulped. "Hey, Orlando" I said nervously. Giving him a sheepish smile. "Don't 'Hey Orlando' me, Ruby" I gritted out. His face was scrunched up and I could see the fury in his eyes. To say that he was furious was an understatement. He looked like a devil who wanted to punish me for tricking him, which I technically did. So it fit the bill, I guess. "We are leaving now"
