My eyes went wide at what happened. No one moved, not even us two. I heard gasps from everyone around us. It was then my senses went back so I stood up from my seat instantly with my heart beating so fast.
I was just looking at Travis who was also stunned about what happened. He was still there, behind my chair, bending down. When he felt I was staring at him, he turned to me. We were just looking at each other’s eyes, while everyone in the room was just looking at us.
“Okay, everyone. Settle down now,” I hear Professor Parker’s voice. Travis stood up straight, still behind my chair. That was when I went back to reality and took my seat. I did not dare look at anyone inside the room. I was only looking at the Professor.
“Mr. Smith, why are you still behind Miss Scott?”
