A Dance With a Dragon

She was relentless! Yakir was beyond annoyed. The princess he hadn’t seen for a little more than a month had waltzed into yet another one of his jobs. He smelled her scent faintly but thought her smell might be haunting him again. It wasn’t until he had seen her dancing with the crowd of people. What the hell was she wearing? What kind of princess wore shorts that showed so much of her ass? Was her ass that big when he last saw her? He shook those thoughts from his head as he tried to focus on the many thirsty customers yelling over the music for his attention. She didn’t seem to notice he was even there so maybe she would keep being oblivious until his shift ended in 30 minutes     It seemed like no time had passed before one of those thirsty customers turned into the very person he was hoping to avoid. She couldn’t possibly be hunting him dressed as she was so what was she even here for? Yakir glared at her but she smiled at him and asked for a particularly potent drink. He only hesitated a second and made the drink in a few seconds. After garnishing the glass he handed it to her.      She took a healthy sip of the alcoholic drink and a look of delight passed her face. To his dismay she decided to sit at the bar. He was about to go clean a cabinet or something to move him away from her when she said something that froze his movements. “Say that again.” he said cautiously, turning towards her. “What city is Itriuz in?” “I thought that was what you said. Why the hell do you need to know something like that for?” “I am going to get your mother’s amulet back.” she said simply around the straw in her drink. “From the feral dragon trapped in Anilorac?” “Yep that is the one. This is a really good drink.” she complimented him.     He was about to tell her she was a psycho for even asking him where Itriuz was but then a rush of people came to the bar during a song meant to calm the crowd down a little. With a groan he looked back and saw she had gotten up and went to wander around the club while he worked. As he worked he realized she had done that back at Monsters’ Ink too. She was a pain in the ass but she was considerate enough not to bother him too much while he is actually working. It took him no time at all to fulfill the orders shouted at him but she didn’t come back.      Yakir groaned he was going to have to convince the little i***t that it was a fool's errand to go after that amulet. He hadn’t thought she would seriously try to get it. He would find her when he got off in a few minutes and make her understand that this was stupid and was not going to help her insane quest to tame him.      Zirri was dancing alone on the dance floor. She hadn’t returned to the side of the bar Yakir was on for a while now. She was having so much fun and had gotten several more drinks in the past 45 minutes. Some she paid for others were sent to her. She was enjoying the music and how the beat literally vibrated through her body. She had been hunting so much she hadn’t had time to get out or get laid or any fun activity that would help her to minimize her stress and anxiety.     She had been lost in herself when someone grabbed her arm and pulled her towards them. She was about to give this person a lecture on how to handle her but she turned to see the man she had come to see in the first place was the culprit and she instantly relaxed. She gave Yakir a small smile before she turned away from him. She still wanted to dance so she bent at the waist so that her ass would meet his pelvis area and began to bounce and gyrate to the music on him. "What the f**k do you think you're playing at Prihaala?" "I'm not playing. We are only dancing. Loosen up Yakir,I didn't even come to hunt you." she said, continuing to dance with him.     Even in her heeled boots which made her all of 6'2 she was still shorter than Yakir and that simply didn't happen. She was taller than both her brothers in heels yet she still felt small and feminine in Yakir's presence. She thoroughly enjoyed being pressed against the dragon she had found herself obsessed with the last few months.     As she moved to the beat against him she felt his large hands steady her against him. Soon enough every move she made he followed close. They moved their bodies in time with each other. He was actually dancing with her! That was unexpected to say the least. They seemed to fit perfectly together. She didn't know why he was going along with this but she knew better than to question it. For now she would simply go along with it.     How did he get here? Why was he dancing with the bane of his very existence? Why did it feel so good to be this close to her? So many questions ran through his mind and with her grinding against him like she was he couldn't seem to grasp the answers. He only pulled her to him because she didn't seem to hear him when he was calling out to her over the music. He hadn't expected to end up like this. Watching her round ass in the little shorts made Yakir wonder about how it might feel if they were naked and alone. Alone really didn’t matter he thought as he watched her look back at him with a playful smirk. He wondered if she could use the same tantalizing moves to ride his….     He growled and shook the damning thought from his head. He didn't want the little pain in the ass. He reminded himself that the only reason he sought her out was because she was planning a suicide mission to get him some silly amulet. He only was here to convince her she was an i***t. He snaked one of his arms around her waist so he could make her lean back against him. Once her ear was close enough he took as much of the edge out his voice as he could manage before speaking. "That's enough dancing. Time for us to have a little chat Prihaala." "Aren't we chatting now?" she said rolling her hips against him "No, I can't talk to you and dance with you at the same time. You don’t seem to be listening to me even now." he said growling as she rolled her ass on him to the beat. He turned her to face him. "Then let’s talk later. Dancing feels so much better than talking."she said sliding her body down his. When her hands got too far below his waist he hauled her back up to face him. She gave a sexy little pout and he rolled his eyes. “Don’t you have a purpose for showing up at yet another one of my jobs. I have been working all day and I would like to go relax before I have to be up for my next job so it’s now or never for your interrogation.”     She sighed and then nodded her agreement. She couldn’t very well waste his uncharastic cooperation so she yielded. He sighed in relief when she stopped dancing and he grabbed her wrist and led her through the crowd. He took her through the back of the club toward the employee exit that led to the employee parking lot. A few lights were out but it was enough light for them to see each other and that hardly anyone else was there. “You are not stupid enough to go and get yourself killed over a silly f*****g amulet that does not even belong to you.” he said coldly. “Someone is grumpy.” she cooed, which infuriated him “You said you have been working all day, have you eaten?”     No he hadn’t and he didn’t even realize it until she mentioned it. It was strange he had eaten that morning and usually he was hungry throughout the day due to his metabolism but he had been working more long jobs than hard ones today and eating had slipped his mind entirely “That is not what you came here to ask me and it’s not what I brought you out here to talk about.” “I thought so.” she said rolling her white eyes at him and then walking around him. “Come beast let me feed you during my interrogation.” she said walking out toward the main street.     Yakir sucked his teeth at her demand and stood looking at her as if she had lost her mind. “I don’t have time for that. And my name is Yakir not beast!” he shouted at her back.     “If you won’t use my name why should I use yours?” she said stopping to look back at him again. By the look on his face he was trying to recall what her name even was. She sighed at the impossible beast     “Besides don’t you want a free meal on a Prihaala? I will get you whatever you want. Besides I need you to tell me where Itriuz is and what kind of dragon he is. I am just about ready to go there but the information would be helpful.”     That reminded him of why he had brought her over here. “You can’t do that but if you want to feed a dragon I am happy to rack up the bill.” he said shoving his hands in his pockets.     Zirri saw him take one step and then he was next to her. She wanted to reach out and touch his full beard. She wished he wasn’t so difficult all the time but at least she would get some answers. “Whatever you rack up I am sure I can afford so don’t worry. Lead the way.”     He walked away at a pace that she could keep up with and they soon found themselves on the main road where many nocturnal citizens were roaming in and out of clubs and bars. He led her across the street and they walked straight on the sidewalk. “How did you find me anyway?” “I have my ways. It is easier if you don’t waste your time worrying about something so trivial.” “ As soon as I think I am rid of you your ass shows up unannounced.” “We could always exchange information.” she said “Not happening.” “Then I will just find you as I have been.” “Not if you carry on with this stupid mission of yours. You will be haunting me because you will be dead.” “I can handle myself.” “Said every i***t who died fighting battles they should not have been a part of.” he said sarcastically. “It's exciting for me. And since this is only one of many reckless things I have done in order to get what I want, I am sure I will be fine.” “Relentlessly stupid princess.” he muttered. “What was that?” “We finally made it princess.” he said gesturing to a yellow sign before walking ahead of her.
