He smiled and pulled me out of the hut. I didn’t see the others as we left, but in truth all I could see was him, though in the back of my mind I felt their stares as we left.
We walked for half an hour in silence, and I was a little annoyed that he still hadn't answered my question about him having a mate. Was he intentionally avoiding the question? I continued to debate with myself while we walked. I wanted to ask him again, but then suddenly Jasper and I reached a large cave opening, and he paused.
''Where are we?'' I asked, as I looked around.
''I want to show you something'' He said, pulling my arm to follow, but I hesitated.
