I knew from the word go that it was a bad idea for me to go and check on the criminal but I tugged along so as not to disappoint Alex. He really wanted us to do this and I had to swim with him so that we could peep and be able to see that human who tried to kill all the mermaids. I was able to see him at first and the curiosity to get nearer overwhelmed me.
I swam closer throwing all cautions to the wind and I was almost caught by the robust guard but thanks to Alex, he saved me for the a hundredth. We swam as fast as possible with the guard chasing us.
