“We are going to crown you today your honor,” Thira told me when I went to meet him later in the day.
“Is it a must you know, I can just be the king. I don’t need those formal things,” I told Thira.
“But the community has to know you. This is a must your honor,” He made it clear.
“Okay, then after this?” I implored.
“After this, you will train for two days to use our spears and then we can plan the war on the southern mermaid communities so that we can have our king and queen back.” Thira insisted.
“Have you mentioned war?” I was clearly not the type of people to send others to war, as a human or as a mermaid.
