Chapter 1 (help me)
The night was as dark as ink, deep and mysterious.
Outside St. Jazz Hotel, Evelyn was being pestered by a drunken man.
Her cheeks flushed with anxiety, and she looked helpless and panicked as she struggled.
"Let me go!"
She warned sternly, her voice small but firm, "If you don't let me go, I'll call the police!"
The man smiled sinisterly, his evil intentions clear on his face.
"Don't pretend to be innocent in front of me. I tampered with the drink you just had. I don't believe you can resist now."
These words were like a ticking time bomb that exploded in Evelyn's mind. She suddenly realized that the drink might have been drugged.
A chill crept up her spine, but it couldn't quell the rising temperature within her. It felt like a blazing fire burning in the depths of her heart, growing stronger with each passing moment.
"Get away!" Evelyn gritted her teeth and roared, kicking the man with all her strength in his vital area.
He doubled over in pain, and Evelyn seized the opportunity to break free, rushing into the middle of the road, hailing a taxi, and fleeing the scene quickly.
The cold night wind blew on her body, but it couldn't alleviate the inexplicable heat within her. It felt like a mischievous kitten scratching at her heart, making her unable to control herself. It was late at night, and she was alone at home, stumbling towards the bedroom.
With a "bang," Evelyn bumped into a solid wall, no, it was a solid chest, in her haste.
Her vision darkened, and her forehead throbbed with pain.
"What are you doing? Running around like a ghost in the middle of the night!" a cold voice echoed in her ears. It was Alexander, her brother.
"Alexander Brother..." Evelyn lowered her head, feeling intimidated, while secretly glancing at him through the corner of her eye.
Alexander's gaze was as cold as ice, devoid of any warmth, making her feel wrong.
Since her 18th birthday, this man had changed like a different person, suddenly becoming cold and heartless, not sparing even her.
Alexander, hidden in the dim light, still carried an air of dominance, like a deity who controlled everything.
His deep and flawless features were enough to captivate anyone.
Despite wearing a dark blue robe, it couldn't conceal the muscular build underneath.
Evelyn felt her face burning, a strange urge making her want to reach out and touch him.
"Alexander Brother, I'm not feeling well..." Evelyn looked at him helplessly, as if a fire was burning within her body.
Alexander's voice remained cold: "If you're not feeling well, go see a doctor." But his low voice made Evelyn feel an unprecedented thrill.
She struggled to control herself, with a monster roaring inside her, making her feel both distressed and anxious. It felt like countless small insects crawling around her body, biting into her heart.
Evelyn's fingers clenched into fists, her fingertips digging into her palms until they ached.
Her face was flushed, and her eyes flickered between clarity and blurriness.
Alexander's gaze remained as cold as ice, always focused on her, observing her reactions in secret.
He was convinced that she had taken some aphrodisiac.
Damn it!
Alexander cursed silently in his heart.
He couldn't understand how Evelyn, who had always been obedient and well-behaved, could encounter such a thing.
His brows furrowed, his voice tinged with anger and questioning: "Evelyn, what have you taken?".
