MARCUS’ POV Few hours had passed since I was done with the man who crossed my path and though I taught him a befitting lesson, I was still angry. If anything, I was even angrier. Not just at him this time but at myself too. Groaning, I got up from my seat and resumed pacing the room like I’d spent the past thirty minutes doing. My mind was clouded, different thoughts running through my mind, Eleanor topping the list. Just why in the world did she have to walk into my room at that moment?
