Back to the city of Babb, in the secret place where Verona and her recruited mages are hiding. Two mages, a wizard and a witch appear into one of the rooms in the hideout, and as they beheld the face of Verona and Godric, they both bowed and said. "My lady. My lord."
"What news do you bring for us from the outer world?" Godric asked them.
"We still haven't found any city weak enough for us to strike and possess. It seems like as the days go by, the governors, commanders, soldiers and inhabitants of each city become more...." The witch answered.
"Becomes more what?!" Venora shouted in anger.
Then the witch and wizard trembled with fear as the witch stammered. "Nothing my lady."
"What were you about to say?" Verona yelled with the same magnitude of anger.
