Moon Falls was exactly like Glacier Falls. The main street even looked similar, with only a few shops, and a few restaurants. Landry had taken her to the Moonshine Diner. They’d walked in and been greeted by a pretty waitress who had immediately decided that they were to have everything on the menu. Now, they were sitting in a booth, waiting for their food. Ellery had been uncertain about the town’s reaction to her. Granted, Tess was one person, but she took it as a positive sign that the first person to meet a Huntress didn’t run away in fear. “This isn’t what I thought it would be,” Ellery admitted.
Landry smiled at her. “Is that a good thing or a bad thing?”
“It’s a good thing,” said Ellery, “I kind of expected it to be…I don’t know. Not this.”
