The doctor took her into the trauma center. He started an IV in her neck. He asked AJ to verify her name and date of birth. "Cassandra Shelton.... Ah, I am not sure of her date of birth."
The nurse came in. "I found her in the computer, looks like our birthday girl turned 20 today."
AJ frowned. She didn't tell him that it was her birthday.
"Cassy, can you hear me? " asked the doctor.
She moaned. "I hear you, where is AJ?" ....
AJ was hearing her mumbling.
He was so worried. He never felt so worried for a girl.
" Is there any possibility that she is pregnant?"
" Uh, no I think she's having her period now." He offered.
" Any diabetes or seizure history?" they asked.
He began to realize that he knew very little about her.
He held her hand. The critical care nurse arrived.
