Cassy woke up to AJ gently rubbing her arm."Hey kid, we are circling the airport. We need to buckle in."
He helped her sit up.
The plane rocked side to side, he lost his balance and landed on top of her warm body.
She laughed nervously. "Is this normal?" She asked him, eyes wide.
He shook his head. "Yes, and no. It can be concerning because the jet is smaller than a commercial plane."
She nodded. More scared now. She clung to him. He picked her up and carried her to her seat. He snapped her seat belt together.
He struggled to sit in his seat and fell back. "s**t, this ain't good."
She reached over and grabbed his hand. He intertwined their fingers together and held her hand tightly.
She closed her eyes. He started singing.
