I got a few hours sleep and then rolled out of bed, wishing I could sleep for a few more hours but already knowing that I'm not going to be able to fall back asleep. I feel a sense of excitement today though. The thought of possibly seeing my mate again has put an extra little kick in my step.
I throw some clothes on and head downstairs to the dining room of the pack house. I can hear voices before I enter, my family talking, laughing, and joking about something. I enter the room, taking in my surroundings.
