Around five o’clock that night Carter pulled in front of Aaron’s house. He had already spoken to Aaron and was assured Kinsley was there but had barricaded herself in her room vowing she hated men. Carter wasn’t worried. It actually gave him confidence. She wouldn’t be so upset with him if she didn’t have feelings for him. His plan was already working out better than he hoped.
