Bryan tried to keep his face serious after Kira had asked him if he was also laughing at her, but the corners of his mouth twitched uncontrollably and his cheeks flushed with the effort of him trying so hard not to laugh.
The laughter dancing in his eyes despite his attempt to be serious was very obvious.
Kira playfully smacked his shoulder and detached herself from him. "I will walk myself, thank you very much," she said as she started making her way to the stairs.
Bryan, barely holding back his laughter, called after her as he followed her, "Sorry, my love! I didn't mean to laugh, really!"
