Death Everywhere

Charlie's POV

Halos paliparin ko ang aking kotse ng matanggap ko ang Isang anonymous message. The veins on my forehead were about to burst in anger.

"Please , don't let it happen or I swear to God, dadanak ng dugo . Death will be everywhere." I muttered sharply. Limang tauhan ang kasama ko sa aking sasakyan. It was my personal bodyguards who are always with me in every mission that I have.

Baste, Ringo, Karlo and Dexter and my left hand Alfonso. Ang dalawa pang sasakyan na nakasunod sa sasakyan Kong saan ako lulan ay mayroon ding mga tauhan ko. Maging ang naunang sasakyan sa harap namin , they served as decoy.

Mabuti na ang sigurado . Sa uri ng trabaho ng kinalakhang pamilya ko. It wasn't safe at all to be in our business . You'll never know when the enemy strikes.

That's why I'm always worried about my sister Leah . She was a little stubborn . Palagi siyang tumatakas sa kaniyang bodyguard . At dahil nga pamilya kami ng Mafia, may kakayahan din si Leah kung paano gagawa ng paraan upang makatakas sa kaniyang bantay .

" s**t !" I muttered sharply when I thought about our conversation earlier. " Brother , I'm going out today..."

Before I can even reply she hastily said .

"Don't let your damn men follow me , doon ako pupunta sa bahay ng boyfriend ko ." Matigas niyang sabi .

Kumunot ang aking noo, ang sinasabing boyfriend ni Leah ay nagmula sa Isang simpleng pamilya . I have him investigated . Hes working in the Palawan Rural Bank as a teller. I told Alfonzo to get all the information about the man .

Leah hates the kind of life that I choose. Pinili ko na sundan ang yakap ng aking ama , na minana Niya sa kaniyang ama , the great Bernardo Martinez- my grandfather .

My family belongs to an underground business here in Palawan Philippines. My business is not only limited in the country but also we operate outside the country, Asia in particular .

That is why I'm looking for Leah's safety, dahil exposed kami sa mga mata ng kaaway . Konting lingat lang , katapusan mo na .

"Oh , shut up brother ." She sat opposite of me as I was sitting in my office . Ang mansion namin ay nasa pinakamayamang bahagi ng Palawan province , ang Puerto Princesa.

Ayoko ng ganitong buhay kuya, gusto ko payapa , walang iniisip na kung ano-ano man . Sabi ko nga sa iyo eh , tumigil ka na sa ganitong uri ng buhay . You don't need this kind of business. It's too dangerous for you." She said softly.

She pulled from a Hug. I turned around to face her . " You know that I can't , I was way too attached with the legacy that our parents have been working for a long time."

" This is our life and this is where it should be . Nakatatak na sa pamilya Martinez ang ganitong buhay ."

"Right , at nakatatak ka narin sa listahan ng mga kaaway mo . Kuya, ayaw Kong mapahamak ka."

I laughed . " Look at you , dear sister . Ikaw nga itong inaalala ko , ngayon ikaw pa ang may ganang magsabi sa akin na ako ang inaalala mo? Hindi mo kasi naintindihan ang damdamin ko, maaring ikaw ang Isa sa gagamiting target ng kaaway upang patumbahin ako."

It takes all my strength not to shout at her. Leah swallow, may katigasan man ang kaniyang ulo , pero kapag alam Niya na malapit na akong maubusan ng pasensya ay marunong naman siyang magtikom ng kaniyang bibig.

" I'm sorry , kuya . I promise babalik ako bago pa mag -alas kuwatro ng hapon...and don't follow me." She quickly added .

Hinila Ni Leah ang manggas ng aking long sleeve, and she tiptoe kissing both my cheeks. " I love you , big brother ." She grinned as she headed to the door .

Umiling na lamang ang nasalubong ni Leah na si Alfonso , my trusted right hand.

" Should I call the boys to follow her?" He said .

" No , leave her alone .

"Are you sure about it ?"

"Hmnn .. she's going to see his boyfriend .

" And would you allow her to?"

"She will be safe ." I quickly replied . Hindi ba sinabi mong malinis ang record ng lalaking iyon?"

" Yes, but what about...your enemy ?" He raised an eyebrow.

" The f****r son of a gun Jose is out of the country. Nagtatago yata at nabahag ang buntot . So , for the meantime she's safe ."

Alfonso shrugged his shoulders . " All right then , " he lit a cigarette .

" Where here boss " Ringo said who was driving my black Rolls Royce. I couldn't help but jump out of the car and see for myself if the message was true .

It doesn't take an expert to realize that my sister was rape. Not only raped but she's almost unrecognizable , the culprit almost killed my sister . UNCONSCIOUS and almost beaten to death . I almost lost my sanity to see my sister in a vegetable state .

It's Alfonso who gives orders In my behalf .

" Call the doctor ! Call the ambulance ! What are you staring at , son of a b***h !" He keeps on giving orders , while I am holding my dear sister. A lone tear escaped from my eye.

Being a capo, a leader of the Martinez Mafia community . My father taught me to be strong . I was trained all my life not to show a single f*****g emotion such as sadness and grief.

Enemies would use such emotions as it is nothing but weakness . But Leah is my beloved sister for cat's sake . Siguro ito ang Isa sa ugali na namana ko sa aking ina , ang pagiging mapagmahal at mahina pagdating sa pamilya .

"Wake up my dear sister ..wake up ! God damn it !" I was still holding her in my arms, lying on the floor while waiting for the Doctor . Half of my men are looking for his missing boyfriend . I was now thinking of the most painful way to kill the jerk . I instructed my men not to kill the son of a b***h.

They can do all they want to punch and kick them , but to finish him is my job alone .

"Boss , it's confirm..the doctor said, she's been raped and .." I gesture Alfonzo to stop as my mind is going crazy now . I couldn't bear to hear anymore. It's way more painful than I thought .

Here I am , thinking about all the dangerous enemy may hurt my sister , and yet the culprit who I never thought capable of doing so , is her own boyfriend .

The loser didn't even man enough to face his action , he ran away .

" Boss , his parents are here ..what should we do ?"

Alfonzo asked . I give them instructions to lock up his parents . I should've killed them , but as I looked at their tired and panicked faces and as I saw the mother weep for what happened to Leah . I am confused .

" Oh my God , what happened to Leah , anak .wake up . " It seems to me , na naging malapit na si Leah sa pamilyang ito .

" Nasaan si Jeric !? Sino kayo anong ginagawa niyo Kay Leah ?" When I heard her ask about her son , I shouted ." I'm gonna kill your son , that's a promise. Your precious son did this to my sister and ran away . "

"No ! The father shouted back .Hindi man lang natakot sa amin . W@la man lang silang nalalaman tungkol sa akin , na kapatid ng girlfriend ng anak nila.

" Hindi magagawa ng anak namin iyan . Our son is not a criminal . And he loves Leah so much. Nagmamahalan ang dalawa. Alam namin iyan .

" Really , so where's your son ? Bakit hinayaan Niya na mangyari ito sa kapatid ko , nasaan na siya ?!" I roared .

Natahimik ang dalawang matanda .

"Take them away , lock them ! " Dexter , Joey ... you know what to do . " Agad na hinila ng mga tauhan ko ang ina at ama ni Jeric .

" Doon na kayo sa rest house, bantayan ninyo sila ! Huwag hayaang makatakas hanggat hindi ko pa nahuhuli ang salbahe nilang anak."

"Yes boss ." The doctor arrived , examined my sister and I instructed Ringo and Alex to accompany me and the doctor back to the mansion .

"Waitt here Alfonso , in case na babalik dito ang hayop na iyon . " Also , wait for his ...sister ." I instructed Alfonso as I carried Leah into my arms , bridal style .

My heart broke into pieces as I bowed my head and stared at the broken figure of my sister.
