We finally arrived at the gathering. My pack is nervous, I can feel the fear through the bond. The Forest Meadow pack has always treated us as if we are worthless. They seem to think we are less than normal wolves. Our pack has come a long way, though. We aren’t the low level omegas that we were before forming our own pack. We may not have long bloodlines, we may not have been born to dominants, but we have plenty of dominant wolves in our pack now.
Before going inside, I turned and faced my pack. “I know you are all nervous, but we need to remember that these are not the same people who treated us poorly so long ago. These are different wolves and a much different Alpha. We are here to give them a chance. Just as they are here to give us a chance. So let’s be careful and try not to start
