“What do you mean she is going on a date!” I roar at Stephen.
He takes a few steps back and puts his hands in front of him. “Whoa dude. Don’t kill the messenger. Clara just called to update us. She’s been doing Alpha training all week. Now tonight she is going on a date with Chad.”
I try to breathe slowly. “Chad. Isn’t he the guy Clara was seeing? The one she thought was going to be Alpha and she would be his mate?”
