As I walked through my back door, I saw what looked like the whole town. The back yard had streamers hanging every where and balloons floating above tables. There was a large banner reading “Happy Birthday Alexia!” I had totally forgotten about my birthday.
As I entered the yard, everyone screamed, “Happy Birthday!” My mom walked up to me and gave me a huge hug.
“Happy birthday sweetie.”
“Oh, mom. This is amazing. How did you pull this off?”
“With a little help.” Angela and Chloe walked up behind me.
“We just had to help!” Angela said.
“It was so much fun!” Chloe squealed.
“Thank you guys so much.” I wrapped them both up in a big hug.
“Alright everyone!” My mom called out. “Let’s eat!”
There were cheers throughout the crowd as everyone lined up for the buffet table.
