THE RISE OF EXILE

SOUNDLESS(PART 4)

When I came back to my senses I had already lost any way out.

Sumire and her group parted ways when unknown creatures started to attack them. The room was filled with numerous unidentified monsters. There are some were headless, both strong and flexible, some creatures were malformed that it more looked like an army of human monsters, other parts of their body were made out of another organ from different species to form a kind of scary creature. The aroma of an unpleasant odor stinks and they seem to have no heartbeat at all. The smell of death lingers the space, it truly is a forsaken place.

"Sumire, you should thank us because we only leave incomplete experiments down here.". Noli shouted while laughing hysterically.

"It's rare seeing a headless rotten imbecile laughing, hmmnn..interesting..." Sumire replied as the fire she released engulfed the five creatures currently attacking her effortlessly.

"Eat more.". Sumire commands her giant Scorpion beast to eat the unknown creatures around them, its piercing crimson eyes focused on Irus and Noli while devouring a bunch of creatures.

"Finn.."

Sumire glance in Preston's direction as he mentioned Finn's name which she knew had been swallowed by the giant serpent.

"I knew it! you are still alive! There is no way you will die just like that easily!". Preston shouted from afar, he was about to approach Finn who's now standing lifelessly, didn't bothered to utter a single word. Before Preston could get close to him, Sumire flew towards him, faster than the speed of light.

"Don't.". She commanded, eyed the stranger askance, and simply raised her index finger of her right hand, placed close next to her right eye.

"Reveal your true self, impostor." She added, stretching her finger gun downward while pointing out directly to Finn.

He began to cachinnate with his whole body until shaking almost convulsively and snorting with laughter, Finn's earsplitting laughter echoed. His skin began to rot, white hair as the snow started to fall to the ground, fangs grow in sharply pressed into his bloody lips and a few minutes after, Finn turned into a white serpent.

"Kill her." Sumire orders them. Grant, Zake, and Preston granted her wish. They immediately obeyed Sumire's command and wasted no time, they surrounded the white serpent.

"You will pay for what you did to Finn"

Preston said and the three of them raised their hands in the air and formed two traps and a barrier.  A SHARP TRAP formed from the above, a whirlwind-look with its Air spike revolving around, it was Preston's magical power, a FIERY CROSS TRAP from Grant. Zake made a Golden Barrier out of pearls with strong thread attached to it.

"I will not fight...". The white serpent said. Suddenly it started shedding skin and became a young lady dressed in white, it was the girl who swallowed Finn alive. Her transformation was absolutely shocking, raw wings began to grow at her back and sharp fangs are now visible to her saccharine sweet lips, her tantalizing incarnadine eyes twinkled in the darkness, she was a fairy and a half-blooded vampire. This is what she really looks like.

"You do not have to be violent.." the young lassie smiled sweetly. Blinking with feigned innocence, her lethargic scarlet gaze enticingly fixed on them. The three did not budge.

Preston, Zake, and Grant connected the trap and barrier together, their magical beast also lends help to transfer their power to further strengthen the trap, the enemy in front of them is no ordinary creature, not easy to deal with. The trap they made was a burning Black Rosary with a golden bead of pearls tightly bound, a faint visible tiny whirlwind circling the Rosary.

"What are you tryin' to show off, huh?" The girl said calmly and chuckled, she was about to burst into laughter when the trap they made tightly intertwine with her. The child cried out, writhing in pain. Preston and the two tightened it, even more, gripped all over the child's body. Two minutes later the child grinned and fell to the cold ground, they were about to approach her when the girl chortled with delight.

"Nice try." The young missy said raising her chin and faced them. Fascination gleamed in her eyes and in an instant, the trap that was tightly bound around her was gone, by then she was released from the chain of the Black Rosary.

"I really don't want to fight because I know you have nothing against me but you leave me with no choice.." When the child got back to her feet, she disappeared from their sight and in less than three seconds she emerges behind Zake's back.

"You're my first prey for today, Mr. Healer." The young missy spun 360 degrees in the air and kicked Zake hard in the head which was immediately blocked by his barrier.

"Nice try! be my guest then." Zake smirked. The child just giggled and just a few seconds later they surrounded her once more.

While everyone was fighting, on the other side of the corner, Sumire confronts them and begin to make the first move. She was throwing an attack on Noli when Irus quickly blocked it with his bare hand, he didn't budge as if it had not even been affected by Sumire's attack.

"I may not look like it, but there's no one in the world who can love my wife more than I do. I can't let you hurt her just like that...". Irus whispered to Sumire's ear.

"Out of my way, punk!". The dining table immediately collapsed as Sumire quickly grabbed Irus' face which she pressed very hard and smashed onto the earth, creating a large crevasse on the ground. Even before Irus regained his consciousness, she immediately took advantage of Irus' face which was buried underground, and explode it up with her fiery hand. Sumire then takes a few steps to back off.

"That is so mean of you, sweetheart.." Irus muttered.  Sumire saw its silhouette in the smoke caused by the blast on its face. She simply blew the smoke away and Irus revealed himself to her with his head cut in length, he was bathed with his own blood, and his eyes were sticking out. Irus holding half of his head and proudly present it to Sumire.

"Take this with you." said Irus and threw the other part of his head at Sumire.

"I don't see any need of it". Sumire shot him a disgusted glance, before his head landed on her, she blew it up.

"You're so mean.." Irus said, then he summoned his magical beast. The giant headless charcoal snake appeared out in the mists, slithering behind him.

"Just like the master, your magical beast also looked hideous.". Sumire said seriously and flawlessly joking. Hands thrust in the pocket, wearing crudely insulting stare.

"Well, save your thoughts as your last will later." Irus said calmly then suddenly it disappeared as well as its magical beast.

Sumire slummed her eyes shut and waited for Irus to show up and less than a minute later Sumire felt Irus assault on her left side, his right fist was burning black fire. Sumire grinned and remained calm, she felt another attack from her right side, it was Noli with a water ball formed in her hand. The couple attacks her together.

"Ah, this is exhilarating!." Sumire said amusingly and glanced sideways. Before the two attacks hit her,  she then grabs the two unknown creatures and uses them as shields, placed them both on her sides, and then she vanished in their sight.

"They are both headless now so that seems like an excuse that they made a mistake in their attack.",  Sumire muttered herself as she watched Noli and Irus' gradual attacks colliding on the two unknown creatures, creating a huge explosion, the last piece of its remains disappears in the void.

The two unimaginable forces obliterate the remaining creatures, the whole area was shaken due to the great speed of annihilation. The place was like a combat field, giving the impression of a disheveled party. Flesh and bones from the creatures were placed abstrusely like abstract art. The only ones left alive were the couple who flew away from the blast, Sumire's group, the white serpent, and Noir sitting asleep in his chair.

While Sumire was on a mission, Narco's wounds were completely healed when he woke up the next morning, leaving the stain of blood on his wrecked shirt, it was just that he was no longer with them. He immediately tapped his finger and he was inside the abandoned mansion where he lived.

"I have to see her, but I don't know how .." Narco murmured himself. "..who was that woman last night?". He asked himself, brows furrowed as his mouth turned grim.

Narco tapped his finger again and the forbidden book appeared right in front of him. He lay down on the bed of his room, eyes fixed on the ceiling. "According to him, I will meet my companion in Morye Village today". He sighed.

"How can I recognize him if I am here and he is from afar..". Narco keeps asking himself.

"Ah!". The look of Grayson, one of Exile's top 10 sorcerers Spatial users, suddenly entered his mind.

"Ha!, Why am I so smart." This time he praised himself, smiled cunningly. He wasted no time, he immediately got dressed and looked for him.

The eastern sky fills with blended tones of beautiful colors explodes in the skyline, the mighty sun breaches the horizon, sunlight fills the air gently kissing the vast wild and free-living things. While rehearsing at his favorite place surrounded by only bamboo trees, Grayson was suddenly startled when a black vein suddenly curled all over his body. He could not scream as the veins move faster and blocked his mouth. He was pulled upside down, hang up in the air, only his eyes and nose were not enwrapped by the black veins.

He was still struggling in the midair, glare traveled with unnerving thoroughness searching for the specific person who had done this to him.

"I am here.." Grayson's eyebrows rose a notch, mouth gaped open. He gave him a reproachful look. How dare he!. The stranger immediately tapped his fingers and removed the veins on his mouth that was muffled.

"Who are you, dumbass?". Grayson spits and asked, the stranger just rolled his eyes.

"Narco, how did you forget me, you nitwit.." Narco said, a sliver of emotion visible in those cool eyes as if he was hurt, Grayson just grimaced. Yeah, how can he forget it, Maddox always gossiped about him. Sometimes Grayson wonders who Maddox adored the most, is it Sumire or Narco.

"So Narco, what are you up to?." Grayson asked reluctantly, Narco's face was serious this time.

"Your power. We are going to Morye Village, there is a mission out there that can increase your ranking." Narco answered. Quiet contentment spread through him, Grayson's mood lightened. He knew Grayson loves to be placed at top 1, and he will do everything just to achieve it.

"Believe me, I am Sumire's best of friends! You can absolutely trust me..". Narco smiled widely. Grayson nodded.

"But I've never been there, so I can't use my magic.." Grayson said.

"I have an idea." Narco said and removed the roots that were wrapped around Grayson's body. He fell to the ground and eventually stood up as well. Narco immediately tapped his finger and a page of the forbidden book appeared.

"Do everything I said as I read it..". Grayson nodded happily, his heart dared to hope.

"Touch your toes." Narco said, Grayson gazed at him with questioned looked.

"Are you f*****g kidding me?!". Grayson asked irritably. Narco's face was humorless and their eyes meet with intensity.

"No." Narco wears a cold expression. Grayson stared at him for a second, he seems to have no choice but followed what Narco said.

"Now, touch your knees". Grayson was still a little skeptical but later on, obeyed him.

"Touch your shoulder" He added, Grayson obeyed and touch his shoulder.

"Touch your head." Narco continued.

"Touch your toes, your knees, your shoulder, and head once more.." Narco smiled at him. "It was pretty fun messing people..". He was laughing out loud in his mind while wearing a serious looked.

Grayson, on the other hand, followed everything Narco said, almost sinking into the pit of shame.

"Now, Inhale and exhale." Narco said. After he did that, Narco said something Grayson could not comprehend.

"Vi ambitu integrogrum" When Narco cite some sort of incantation, the black page he was holding was on fire. Grayson felt warm all over his body, he could feel the blood cruising on his veins and he could hear its flow. He sees blurred visions, the extreme heat feels like he is about to die, and even before he falls from his knees, Narco tapped him and he was returned to normal. His breathing was now all good and the heat has completely vanished.

"Touch my forehead and close your eyes..". Narco commands him, Grayson still doubted him but he followed him later on.

"Say, "Erinnerungen" ", Narco dictates him.

"Errinerungen.." when Grayson uttered the word, he suddenly saw the place in Narco's mind. He saw the village he had never been to, that was wreak in havoc, fast forward to a house in the middle of the forest emitting a black aura. He was stunned to see what is inside, he did not see everything when his vision moves to another scenario, he saw the dark part of the house.

"Make a portal right there." Narco asked him and he obeyed. Grayson immediately uses his magical power to create a portal.

"Thank you!". Narco thanked him, and before he could open his eyes, Narco pushed him into the portal he had made.

"Tell her, "YOU'RE WELCOME.." .." Narco chuckled while waving his hand to him. And less than a second later it disappeared from his sight.

The whole house was shaking from above,  the chandeliers and ceilings fell. Walls started to collapse and the door from the outside where they entered was now disappeared, no one seems could get out. The wind rages without end and the ground swallowed the abandoned hope that remained cloistered in the walls, where no souls willing to feel the torment that lies within.

" We will bury you alive, Sumire..". Irus said calmly standing up.

"No matter how strong and powerful you are, you still can't get out from here .." Noli added while laughing crazily. "...this place will be your graveyard, and your memoir will be buried together with you.." She added.

"Tss, so noisy..". Noir said, brows knitted in a frown. His two elbows resting on his legs, covering his ears with his hands, shifted his furious glare to Noli and Irus who's now back on their feet.

"Oh you are already awake son, take us to your territory so we can all get out of here." Irus arrogantly commands him. Noir just looked at him seriously, studied with piercing scrutiny, he then sits comfortably in his chair. Its legs are clasped while its two hands are locked behind his head.

"Hey, White Snake, hand over to Sumire the black bottle where Finn is imprisoned...". Noir ordered the White Serpent in its true form, eyed him, eyes rolled skyward.

"I have a name and it's Moryan, not a White Serpent, you dickhead!.." Moryan, the half-blooded vampire shouted and threw the black bottle over to her. Sumire caught it and looked at it, astonishment was visible in her eyes, she then turned her gaze to Noir.

"Just think of that as compensation.". Noir said without even glancing at Sumire.

"What does this mean, Noir". Noli asked him. Noir just yawned without bothering to cover his mouth. His facial muscles just as loose, there was no anger, no sadness, no joy or resentment, his eyes were blank and glassy.

"A family that plays together, stays together, am I right?". Noir said without breaking an unrelenting stare. "You force me to play with you and I did. This is our precious playhouse. We are not leaving here." He added.

"Territoire de la mort", Noir incanted, and suddenly,  a dark shadow came out from nowhere, approaching his parents.

"Integrum irritanda destinauit." He whispered when his parents tried to use their power to uplift his magic.

"Undo your magic, right now!" His father threatened him but he did not bother to listen, he remained sitting in the chair, emitting a negative aura as his face darkened even more.

"Sumire, you don't deserve to die in this place."  Noir just smiled, flaunting his white set of teeth but Sumire just stared at him with her eyes full of questions.

"Captain, this place is collapsing, we can't get out--". Zake did not finish what he was going to say when suddenly a silver portal appeared in front of them and pulled Grayson out there.

"Into the portal, now!". Sumire commanded and they followed her. Even before Grayson got up from the ground, Sumire pulled him without saying a word back into the portal, not giving him the time to think, nor was he able to sink in the happenings he was currently in. Irus, Noli, Noir, and Moryan were left inside.

"Why haven't you joined them". Noir asked Moryan who gracefully standing next to him, there was not even a trace of a wound on her body during the fight.

"Nah, Sumire will just kill me too, so what's the point?" Moryan just laughed.

"She definitely will.." Noir agreed. His gaze fixed on the portal that was now gone.

"Why are you doing this?". Noli asked him.

"Because I feel guilty?" Noir said in return for a question.

"You're out of your mind!.. " Irus shouted in so much anger, Noir just laughed at them. "..yes, I am..".

"Curse you!" Noli was infuriated by his haughtiness.

"Ah, time's up..". Noir said calmly and the house began to destroy by itself according to the time they set. Darkness engulfed the surroundings and disappeared in an instant.
