Chapter 16 NELLIE AND HENRIK walked through the harbour and then into a street along the canals. Henrik’s family was not terribly rich, but they were not poor either. They lived in a house one block back from the canal, in a respectable street, where the neighbours worked in the trades or were employees for the larger companies.
