Chapter 1 Let's Divorce
"Lily, you blind woman are the bane of my son for three years. Why don't you die!"
Hearing the sharp and mean voice from the mobile phone, Lily's eyelashes trembled, and there was no light in her beautiful eyes.
She was blind. After marrying Zack for three years, Zack's mother still didn't like her and regarded her as a thorn in the flesh. Even if they moved out, Zack’s mother still called and abused Lily day by day.
After three years, Lily endured her every nasty words because she was Zack's mother, but she didn't intend to endure it today.
Lily sneered: "Madam Holmes, it was your son who wanted to marry me. You should turn to your son. As long as you manage to persuade him to divorce me, I'll pack up my things and leave without saying a word. You don't have the courage to face your son. Does bulling a blind person give you a sense of achievement? "
Zack's mother didn't expect Lily, who had been obedient for three years, to say these words. She was so angry that she was going to scold her, but before she could say something.
Lily heard the sound of a car at the door and immediately hung up the phone.
As soon as she put away the mobile phone, the door was fiercely pushed open, and the cold wind mixed with snowflakes poured in.
Lily shrunk due to the coldness and looked at the door with empty eyes: "Zack, is that you?"
A tall figure came towards her. Zack pursed his lips. His handsome face was like ice and snow, cold and ruthless: "Why did ask me to come back? I have to deal with some business in the company. If you want to say something, make a long story short. "
His voice was full of impatience. Lily felt so uncomfortable. His detestation was too obvious. Why didn't he notice it before?
She bit her lower lip hard and finally opened her mouth after a long time: "Zack, let's divorce!"
Zack didn’t expect her to say that and suddenly looked at her and pursed his lips in a straight line.
"Lily, stop it. Take it back. I can take it as if you didn't say it."
His simple sentence made Lily angry: "Zack, do you think I'm joking with you?"
She looked angry and jerked her arms out of the blanket.
Lily was very pale. Her skin quickly turned blue after being blew by the cold wind. The most striking thing was the dense pinholes on her skin.
"Zack, in the past three years, you have taken me to the hospital to draw blood every once in a while. I have told me countless times that you care about me, love me and think about my health. I didn't expect that you were lying to me all the time. You made me transfuse blood to your old lover for three years just because I can’t see. "
When Lily spoke, her lips trembled as well as her voice: "For the whole three years. Is the woman named Shirley so important to you?"
Zack saw her scarred arm. Somehow, his heart hurt severely, but it was soon pressed down by a wave of disgust. He looked away and asked, "Where did you know this? Who told you?"
"You don’t have to know." Lily took out a pile of document from her arms and slapped it on the tea table: "This is the divorce agreement. Please sign it!"
Zack went forward and turned it over. It said that as long as he was willing to divorce, she was willing to leave and didn’t want anything.
In order to divorce him, she even didn't want anything. Zack sneered: "Lily, I wanted to hide it from you. Now that you know, I'll tell you the truth."
As he spoke, he came forward abruptly, squeezed her chin hard, looked at her delicate and beautiful face, and finally looked at her empty eyes.
"Three years ago, your father was drunk driving, which made Shirley a vegetable. She lay in the hospital for three years and didn't wake up. You owe her."
After hearing this, Lily's blood seemed to freeze, and she subconsciously retorted, "No, no, my father didn't drive after drinking! He didn’t!"
Because of her excitement, she seemed to be crying, and she was shaking constantly, and her face was as pale as snow.
Zack glared at her and said in a harsh voice, "Lily, what are you pretending to be poor? If he didn’t drink, how could a lot amount of alcohol in his blood was found during the autopsy? Lily, the evidence is obvious. You're so stubborn that still arguing for your alcoholic father at this time! "
"If you were not the same blood type as Shirley, I would feel sick by looking at you as a blind person. It's just a revenge. It's ridiculous that you take it seriously.!"
This made Lily's face turned pale.
She stepped back in a trance. Because she couldn't see, she tripped over the stool and fell to the ground. This time, she fell too hard. She was like a dying fish. She groped and struggled for a long time and didn't get up.
Zack looked coldly and didn't mean to help her up at all. His voice was full of sarcasm: "Lily, you're not qualified to divorce me. You have to pay for your father. You'll have to give Shirley blood transfusion in the future until she wakes up."
Lily's eyes suddenly turned red. When she knew the truth, she realized that Zack was much more cruel than she thought.
She slowly groped the chair and got up. Her body was dirty. Even if she couldn't see it, she knew that she was in a mess now.
Lily's delicate little face was full of tears, and her words were stubborn and unyielding.
"Zack, I could give her blood transfusion. I just want you to divorce me."
