I jumped up from bed at the second ring of my alarm. I don't think I have ever slept so peacefully before. And the bed…it was glorious. I cast a quick glance at the other bed across the room. It was empty and smoothened out. I guessed that she had already left for work this morning. My roommate, Wrenn, came in late last night. We exchanged polite greetings and nothing more. That was understandable, seeing as it was just our first meeting. But I hoped that we would be able to get more comfortable with each other as time passed. It would be quite nice to have someone to talk to.
Quickly putting on my slippers, I rushed off to the bathroom to freshen up. When I was done, I picked out some fresh clothes and raced out of the quarters. I had to locate Janna's room once again and then wait
